What is approvals coordination?
Approvals coordination manages the practical steps around a submission or institutional process. It can include document assembly, meeting preparation, response tracking and coordination across public bodies. The scope identifies the activities Gracen Law will undertake and the inputs required from the client and other advisers.
Does this service include legal licensing advice?
Substantive licensing advice can be included through a separate Regulatory Compliance and Licensing workstream. That work assesses the applicable requirements and legal application materials. Approvals coordination manages their delivery and follow-through, with responsibilities made clear at the outset.
Can you take over a process that has already started?
Yes. We first review the submission record, correspondence, decisions received and outstanding requests. This establishes the actual position before a coordination plan is agreed. Existing advisers and client teams can remain involved, with clear ownership of the remaining actions.
How do you manage several agencies?
We identify each institution’s role and the dependencies between processes, then develop an agreed sequence. A shared register records submissions, responses and next actions. This helps the team address linked requirements and avoid losing track of requests across separate channels.
Can you guarantee approval?
Institutional decisions remain with the responsible public body. Our mandate defines the coordination activities and deliverables we can provide, including complete materials, organised follow-through and clear reporting. Approval is determined through the relevant institutional process.
What do we need for the first consultation?
Provide the application or submission, supporting documents, correspondence and any stated institutional deadlines. Identify the advisers already involved and the result you seek. We will review the stage reached and agree the coordination scope, outstanding inputs and next steps.
